Description Eugenio Castellotti was fatally injured while testing a Ferrari Formula 1 at the Modena Aeroautodromo, on Thursday, 14 March 1957. The car went out of control at the S-bend, at the end of the pit straight, throwing the driver out as it overturned then smashing against a small concrete stand.
