Bottom post of the previous page:

Good job! It's rewarding when you see the progress over time/laps.

Hadn't noticed my server crashed, it is up again looping Nordschleife.

A decent sized screen makes a helluva difference.

27"

I still need to bring the monitor quite close to fill my field of view though.

I just did a 3'26.8 around Spa 67 in the Lotus 49. Sweating so much. Wow it is fun though!

So I installed AC again to enjoy some of the new mods and old. However, even though I have clutch assist on, it doesn't seem to work at all. Is it a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Ok, another question to take a stab at. As you know, for many of the mods, you need to use the shaders patch with your AC car manager. Thing is, how on earth do we reduce this blinding nuclear explosion intensity level of glare? I mean, just look at it. You can't even see where the road is going. I've reduced the brightness to the lowest it'll go in the shader settings. What else is there to do?

I had that issue for a long time as well.

I can't remember how I resolved it exactly, I think I turned off the Lighting FX module and/or reduced the brightness from 300% to 100%.

Or turn off Sun rays in AC's regular settings menu.

Yes, I reduced the brightness to 100%, which helped a bit but still blinding for the most part. And going down to lowest (10%) felt the same as 100.

Sun rays off fixes it but the scene looks off, but I guess that's the only alternative. But will try the lighting fx module, if I can find it. Thanks Paul.

It's one of the options under Shader Patch in Content Manager

Atlanta Speedway 1910 has been released for AC. Maybe @Michael Ferner is not much into video games, but this might interest him.

Oh, I would be interested in a good video game, especially after the frustrations with the Isle of Man game recently, which led to me buying a steering wheel that I couldn't use! But I don't know if racing a Model T on a two mile track would be interesting enough for me :haha:

Thing is, I don't really have the time right now. But one day, I know I will have to get my fix of this! :flag:
