Worst Looking Formula 1 Car
On the basis of 'you cant have the best looking without the worst, or even 'Beauty and the Beast, what preferences do we have for the worst looking Grand Prix car. Im pretty sure some cars will end up in both surveys, one mans meat is another mans poison etc....
Heres something to start the ball rolling. Top row left is the Berta (1975) and an Alfa tested by Lauda in 1978. Middle are two pics of the Eiffeland in 1972, the bottom is the Serrenissima

Definitely a major contender in this contest...the 1973 Ensign N173. It kinda resembles the shape of the A1GP cars :

Have a go trying to find a car uglier than this one:
Ensign N179 '79
Also...
Williams FW26 '04
Ligier JS21 '83

Hehehehe...... as I said some cars will appear in both the worst and the best threads! Personally I agree with Ash, I dont think its ugly by any means....ASH wrote:The 83' Ligier looks nice. I don't know whats wrong with that vehicle.

Mkay my turn, this time I have to agree with Bigballs. (sort of)Everso Biggyballies wrote:OK Im convinced now, that IS one ugly Mutha from that angle!
Even though the Ligier would take the last place for the ugliest car because it's still much cooler than the previous posted crap wagons.

Here are another couple of nasties
Firstly the Token at the British GP 1974
Another pic of the Eiffeland ...modified March 721 owned by a Caravan maker with access to a wind tunnel. Having been tested in cool Europe with success and apparently quickly, it arrived at Kylami like this, but in the hot climate promptly boiled, resulting in a mix of the old March and 'assorted' bodywork having to be fitted for the race. Still kept the central rear view 'periscope' though!
