I'd love to have seen those BMW M1 Procars in the flesh. Is the 205 you are referring to the one seen on that famous film made at Pike's Peak?

That would be the 405 T16, in "Climb Dance".futuretiger9 wrote:Is the 205 you are referring to the one seen on that famous film made at Pike's Peak?FloP wrote:I agree with futuretiger, and I'd like to add the Sauber C11, the BMW M1 Procar (in the red-white-blue livery as used by Stuck in '79) and the Peugeot 205 T16 Evo. 2 to the list.

Although the 405 was the star (along with Ari) of 'Climb Dance' the movie, 205 T16was also used at Pikes Peak with the same sort of big wing look. Here is a tribute clip to the car with some footage and interviews. You will probably notice that an at the time young World Rally Champion is interviewed. Probably now the most successful boss in Motor Sports History with at least one World Championship for everything he has been involved in. You probably know who I mean but you will certainly recognise him.Warren wrote:That would be the 405 T16, in "Climb Dance".futuretiger9 wrote:Is the 205 you are referring to the one seen on that famous film made at Pike's Peak?FloP wrote:I agree with futuretiger, and I'd like to add the Sauber C11, the BMW M1 Procar (in the red-white-blue livery as used by Stuck in '79) and the Peugeot 205 T16 Evo. 2 to the list.
