Bottom post of the previous page:

The 1971 Pedro Rodriguez pic does not appear on your CPdB-list, but there is reference to it here, so I assume that anything will do, and I have the following:

This was the one Warren posted.

They kept patching it as the race wore on. The Oliver/Rodriguez 917 finished the race, but out of contention - for 1st place, that is. Great photography, tho.

Wondering if this is not one in a sequence of the crash, but apparently that one was the only one found at the source. I can't remember it.
Larger version of this here:

No sequence, but I'm sure you'll find additional photos of this online. E.g.

(Btw it looks like this has been overly resized, so might make sense to make it smaller before uploading to CPdB)

How do you know which photo was posted by whom?

Thank you very much. Both threads updated accordingly.
Because I backtracked with the search function, using the quotes you added, combining your two list posts. There is a blurry image in places where the originally posted image is, in some cases, and then of course the fact that there can only be so many things on my HD to choose from. I probably have most missing items. I'll carry on, and see what more is on this machine.
Do you have a second copy of all of these files? I mean if your HDD broke down, you have backups?

There was a b/w version, as well. I'll add it just in case. Click to enlarge:

They are. But I can only add the first one to the CPdB when you're able to ID the drivers

Re the Chip Mead fire:

I found a 2nd photo on Facebook which might be the same one that @The Ost posted and is marked as offline in the initial post.

It's not. It's clear that you for some reason cannot see the blurry .webp images where it says offline on your PC. PTRACER probably knows what the technical issue is.

Here's a screenshot of what it looks like on mine. Click to enlarge:

Image

A sequence of three pics joined in one file, which was called "1988sebringlamas.jpg".

Unfortunately, I did not save this. If The Ost no longer has it, it is possibly lost.

NOTE TO SELF: ADD TO LIST OF LOST PICS.

There is another one here:

https://www.racingsportscars.com/photo/ ... 19-048.jpg

So, six pics in all, three unavailable.

@Jesper Hvid
I have at least saved one of these, click to enlarge:

The almost identical one found later, I did not manage to secure.

NOTE TO SELF: ADD TO LIST OF LOST PICS.

I'll look for the offline ones of Wester's crash today. I'm certain I've saved them. The rest of the missing ones, I don't have.

Another four (note that wester7 = wester1, only larger and a bit darker):

http://www.the-fastlane.co.uk/images/Benhuset/wester5.jpg
http://www.the-fastlane.co.uk/images/Benhuset/wester6.jpg
http://www.the-fastlane.co.uk/images/Benhuset/wester7.jpg

6 different pics. There are more, I'll just need to locate them.

Rest later. I'll have to crop them, also.

Last one for now. 7 different ones recovered.

The rest must have random filenames, as I can't find them right now.

Hmmm, very strange. Never noticed that, of course.

Thank you! Will wait for @PTRACER's reply. For the future, I know what to do.

Thank you for all the additional photos. Will add them to the CPdB soon so the project is pretty much finished with what we have on the forum.
