That's rather a lot of money for one book.

Yes, and we have rather a lot of money, so let's not rule out anything.

Yes. I owned the car. I am attaching a photo of the car as it appeared in the centerfold of Road&Track magazine.

Thank you. Is there a chance you remember the cover for the book with the wreck photo you mentioned?

I don't remember. I saw the photo at Milestone Auto Books in Burbank . At the time they had all the available literature on the event. Not so much now. I appreciate your efforts. Here are a couple of photos taken during my ownership.

It's supposedly an Italian book. I understand that as written in Italian, or translated therefrom. Help us, Jack. I own the last one of those, and it is not in there, but I'll look in it again, for any pic of the car in question.

As far as books written in Italian goes, there are too many of them on the subject in the coffee table book format, and without more info about the specific book, there really isn't much I can do.

I'm sorry I missed the info with the book being Italian.

Then again, I don't think every $15 book would have such a rare picture in it. We'd have seen it by now if that was the case.

@Jack Reynolds
Is this where you saw the book?
