Are you sure of the spelling of Denis? Dennis with 2x'n's is the usual spelling of the name, certainly in England and the US. It is spelt Denis in France. I only mention it because I have seen the name spelt Dennis Westwood listed in other Motor Cycle fatality listings.

Fair enough.... there is always an exception to the rule. Your sources are more solid than Wiki!
The other thing that raised my thought was the mention that Westwood was said on MM to previously have been involved in trials, and I have found many references in that context to a Dennis ('Wacker') Westwood . Must be another Westwood. https://www.pinterest.com.au/pin/790311434604585667/

I'm sure that this is the same person, simply his first name is spelled wrong as "Dennis" by some sources. The Wackman sidecar brand was purely raced by Westwood and maybe it was built by him. This is possibly why he was called "Wacker".

Photos were incredibly brought in a race programme from the same track. Guess there is no such thing as bad publicity.
Missing vehicle number has been sent to mmorg.
MMorg did not reply. Nanni has not passed away, nor become comatose, so this must have been an oversight. Vehicle number 55. Sedre, please take care of it, and thanks!
