It worked for me even without "clearing my cookies", which is good because I don't have a darn idea how to do that!
Clearing your cookies is easy.... simply go to your pantry get your cookie / biscuit tin. Make a cup of coffee and scoff the lot... empty your cookie tin (dunking is ok) Dont stop until they are all gone.
When the cookies are gone, you have cleared out your cookies. Problem solved.

@Everso Biggyballies Thanks for sharing that breakdown above, that is really helpful!
I added one more piece of advice - please update your browser bookmarks to the following URL in full: https://forums.the-fastlane.co.uk
I found out that if you don't include the "s" in https, the forum will log you out every time you switch tabs. Maybe this was @Motorsportrace's problem all along?
Well, I don't really know, but the forum has been working well for at least a month now.
The insta-logout problem seems to be solved for me as well. Great job, once again @PTRACER!

Now the only thing I gotta figure out is how to edit my 2nd Indexing Post in the CPdB Projects section. While I can apparently edit posts generally (as tested succesfully here, it seems like the CPdB one doesn't like to be manipulated because it sends me to this page:
I have not yet tested to see if editing that post in general/editing posts in that section is the problem. Or if it might be caused by what, in terms of text, I'm trying to edit. Will keep you updated
Congrats oh esteemed leader @PTRACER you appear to have fixed the forum for everyone! Now please, leave the darn thing alone as I keep losing my Wordle information every time I clear my cookies and cache
Seriously, thanks for all you do to keep this place working well and as it should, it is very much appreciated

That's really strange. I tried it and got the same thing. Then I tried again and the server's Antivirus software logo popped up.
All of these errors just seem to be related to the host's AV software. They keep blaming me and saying it's my code but this is a standard PHPBB3 forum, it happens on my GPL Addons site and also on a totally blank MyBB forum I created for test purposes.
I'm still toying around with that site. I got everything backed up locally, so moving the whole page around shouldn't be too much of a problem. Just let me know if you move it, else I'll end up confused next time I'll upload an update.
BTW The forums seem to have lost the favicon for me.
I realised I left it out. Moved it over just now. No plan to move Racing Circuits to another location.
I was away from the forum all week because I could only log on from my phone and I kept getting a "misdirected request" error on Safari! Finally I've had time to log on to a PC and access the forum from there and now I understand what happened! Glad to be back and thank you Paul!!
Just to let you know though, going to the main site i.e. the-fastlane.co.uk and then clicking on the button 'Forum' keeps giving the same error. Might be worth redirecting if possible.
