Bottom post of the previous page:

@hollie3sa Well my first thought was Brands but I discounted it because of the crowds and decided Goodwood..... the tunnel at Brands goes under the track at the top of Paddock Bend and looks like there are people on the side of the track above the tunnel so I discounted it from a 'health and safety' pov.... but given the pic looks early sixties I guess H&S was unheard of then. One thing I do remember about the tunnel at Brands is that when you went through from the paddock area towards the track as soon as you come out of the tunnel the road went fairly sharply to the right. But as the tunnel was used to leave the paddock and rejoin it could indicate if the car pictured was returning to the paddock rather than heading to the trackthen the crowd would not be right by the track. If that makes sense. The Dummy assembly grid would be on the left of this pic below, with the paddock area straight on.

THis picture below does look very much like Brands in the background.

Edit: Just found a video of the entrance to Brands and driving through the tunnel. The tunnel bit is from c 2:30 on the video. Having seen that I would say Brands. You can see the curve to the right I remembered on leaving the tunnel towards the track.

I want to say Nurburgring (Nordschleife) because it reminds me of part of the Ex Muhle section where the bridge goes over the village.

Modena Circuit races for sports cars had been held in 1927 and 1928 over a 12 km dirt road circuit, organized by the RACI. They had been initiated by Enzo Ferrari as Modena was his home town. With Scuderia Ferrari founded at the end of 1929, Modena had a great sports organization. In 1934 the Circuito di Modena took place for the third time, but this time it was for racecars, organized by the Modena Provincial Headquarters of the RACI (Reale Automobile Club d'Italia). The 1934 circuit used the streets inside Modena and was just 3.200 km in length so that 25 laps of the circuit added up to 80 km. A description of the circuit is in the Grand Prix car report.

I see, the RCDB only mentions the 3.2km street track. That's why I didn't recognize it.

On a very wild guess I'd say Ramsey Hairpin in the Isle of Man before it became part of the Mountain Course
