Why adapt the bike for Lorenzo when it works so well for Marquez?
Exactly. So Honda is wiser mounting someone that has that riding style on there.

No. I don't want Oxley to retire. He's still got a lot of good journalism left in him.
Oh wait, I don't think that's what you meant...

All the best. If he had not hurt himself at Aragon last year and stuck with Ducati, the world would be a very different place.

"I have to admit that when I was rolling through the gravel and when I stood up I thought to myself, ok Jorge, is this really worth it, after what I’ve achieved?
"I’m done with it; I don’t want to race anymore. But then I got home and decided to give it a try again. But the truth is from that moment the hill became so high for me that I wasn’t able to find the motivation to keep trying to climb this mountain.”

Good call. He doesn't need the money, and bike racing is far too dangerous to do if you're doing it half-hearted. Happy retirement.

Seems odd to retire at the end of morning practice rather than end of a race. Wonder why he decided to quit part way through the weekend?

FAAARRRKKK... Looks like Alex will be joining his brother at Repsol Honda for 2020, leaving Zarco fairly high and dry. Zarco’s options would be Avintia Ducati or Marquez’s MarcVDS Moto2 ride. He’s already indicated he wouldn’t be interested in Avintia as they ‘are not a top team’.

Why did he ever leave Tech 3 Yamaha to go to KTM? I can't remember. Was it his decision or Tech 3's to part ways?

A bit of both, I think. He was lured by a factory ride, bad advice and probably a better payday.
I hope Zarco gets a top-5 today to give them something to think about.

It's a dull track, but there's so much powerslide porn going on at Valencia.
