Last.fm - The Social Music Revolution

I have been a member of this for many months now. Basically, you sign up to the site, download a special plug-in that goes with all the major Media Players and it will hold a record of all the songs you've played on your computer.

You can see your most popular artist, song, etc. :smiley: You can then embed some code into your MySpace.com space, website, forum, whatever :smiley:

I just use iTunes for this, much easier seeing as i play all my music on it anyway!

My question is, Why the hell would you want to bother keeping track of that? What purpose does that info serve?
